I feel obligated to do a post on the oscars solely because I couldn't help myself from drooling during the red carpet, gross right?
so anyways, these were my favorites Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mila Kuins, and Scarlet Johansson. Mila Kuins's dress was stunning. A delicate dress by Givenchy, violet and lace, beautiful. And on the other hand,  everyone's giving Scarlet Johansson crap for her dress but I happened to love it. It's different than her retro self, and still made a bold statement.
Also.. the fact that Anne Hathaway changed about 2456789x drove me kind of nutty.

I've been wanting to go see the Watts Towers in Watts, California for a long time, but there's never been the right time to drive down to the dangerous area and check it out. The Watts Towers are an amazing sight and it is consists of 17 major sculptures build by Simon Rodia in the earlier 1900's. I highly recommend taking a day trip down there, they're beautiful.

Banksy's a secretive, and wildly famous British graffiti artist.

Josh and I went to Westwood to check out one of his tags. It's right by Diddy Riese if you wanna check it out..... its supa cool.
Many of his artworks are being painted over, because it is graffiti, but I found a few more that have been around the LA area, so see it nooooow !

love french toast

- 3 heart shaped pieces of challah bread (use a giant cookie cutter)
- your favorite french toast batter (I used 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon)
- 3 large sliced organic strawberries
- 2 pads of salted butter
- 2 tbs of Mascarpone Cheese
- 2 tbs of Nutella
*optional whipped cream*

Last weekend my mom and I went to the melrose flea market and found a bunch of her old Climax/ Karen Okada by David Howard dresses. It's so funny whenever I go to a vintage shop I always find a dress  that she's designed, so wild. After thrifting we went to Joan's on Third for a quick nosh, nom.
